UP Scholarship is an official initiative of the Government of Uttar Pradesh aimed at providing financial assistance to students for pursuing higher education. The portal mainly offers scholarships for Pre-Matric (Classes 9-10) and Post-Matric (Classes 11-12, Graduation, Post-Graduation, Diploma, and Professional Courses) students.
The benefits of this scheme are extended to all economically weaker students, including those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), General Category, and Minority Communities.
The official Scholarship UP Portal – scholarship.up.gov.in has been designed to be completely transparent and digital. Through this portal, students can complete both Fresh Registration and Renewal applications online.
In addition, the portal provides facilities for students to check application status, complete verification, and track payment details.
